We can help arrange snorkelling, diving with our partner diving.de, and island hopping to Liukang and Kambing Islands. Just let our team know in advance and we'll help set it up with trusted local operators.

Ask us on WhatsApp with your dates and we will confirm which islands and boats are available.

We hire out motorbikes — a Honda Beat or Scoopy, arranged at the front desk. We do not hire out cars, but we can arrange a car with a driver.

Yes — accessible to all guests 24 hours a day. A short flight of stone steps leads from the property down to the sand, and the stretch in front of us is wide and keeps its sand even at high tide.

You can book directly via our Book Now page, contact us via WhatsApp, or fill in our contact form. Book direct and breakfast is included. We confirm by WhatsApp or email, usually within 30 minutes during reception hours.

Most guests book two to three days ahead. Holiday periods and long weekends go earlier, so book those sooner if you can.

We take debit and credit cards, Visa and Mastercard — we cannot take American Express. If a card will not go through, we can give you Indonesian, German or Wise bank details, and cash is always fine.

Breakfast is included on direct bookings, and you can talk to us before you arrive about transfers, a barbecue or anything else you need.

Yes, breakfast is included with your stay. We don't operate a separate restaurant, but breakfast is served daily for all in-house guests.

We're happy to accommodate simple dietary needs for breakfast where we can. Please let us know your requirements when booking or upon arrival so we can do our best to help.

Ask us on WhatsApp — we would rather tell you directly than publish a menu that may not match what is served that week.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:00. If you are leaving earlier, tell us the night before and we will open early for you or make up a breakfast box.

Yes. Guests are welcome to cook, and there is a barbecue you can hire — tell us in advance and we can source the meat.

Yes, coffee and tea are free all day.

About five hours by road, give or take half an hour for traffic and a meal stop. A night drive without stops can be closer to four. By shared Kijang or bus, allow six. See our Getting Here page for the full breakdown.

Yes. Tell us your flight and we will have a driver waiting — IDR 950,000 one way for the car, up to three adults comfortably. Let us know 48 hours ahead if you can.

Yes, free of charge. Let us know before you leave Makassar and we will meet you at Bira harbour.

Yes, a government tourism charge collected at the post on the road in — Rp 16,000 per adult, Rp 41,000 for foreign visitors and Rp 10,000 for a car, all including basic insurance. If you book a transfer with us, our driver settles it for you.

No. The nearest is Sultan Hasanuddin in Makassar, about five hours by road. Selayar has a small airport with a limited schedule, reached by ferry from Bira.

Yes. The ferry leaves from Bira harbour, ten minutes away. Our reception can check whether a sailing is running on time and buy your ticket for you.

Check-in starts at 14:00 and check-out is by 12:00 local time. Early check-in and late check-out are available on request (subject to availability; additional charges may apply). Luggage storage is available after check-out.

A 50% deposit confirms your booking. Cancel more than 7 days before check-in and you get a full refund. Inside 7 days we charge one night and refund the rest. A no-show forfeits the deposit.

Yes — dogs and cats are welcome. There is a refundable IDR 100,000 deposit against damage or extra cleaning.

Reception is open 07:00 to 22:00 Sunday to Thursday, and 07:00 to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday. We reply to WhatsApp within 30 minutes during those hours.

Not a problem — just let us know in advance. We will either keep someone at the desk or send you a short video showing how to let yourself in, and we will do the check-in paperwork over breakfast.

Very. One child under 10 stays free in each room, sharing the existing beds — so a family taking two rooms has two children free. A second child in the same room is charged, and from 10 a child counts as an adult. If a child needs a bed of their own, that is an extra bed and it is charged.

Eight rooms, in three types: two Family Bungalows with a sea view, five Superior Double or Twin rooms, and one Superior King.

The two Family Bungalows. They are standalone buildings with a raised, furnished terrace looking out to the sea. The Superior rooms sit at ground level, each with a furnished patio.

Every room includes air conditioning (serviced on a regular schedule), hot water from its own 30-litre tank with real pressure, fast WiFi, and a furnished patio or terrace. An extra bed is available on request in every room type.

Yes. The Superior Double or Twin sleeps up to five with an extra bed, and the Family Bungalow sleeps up to six.

Yes — one in the Family Bungalow and the Superior Double or Twin, and up to two in the Superior King.

The Superior King and the Superior Double or Twin are 26 m². The Family Bungalow is 37 m². Those figures cover the room and its bathroom — the patio (7.7 m²) and the bungalow terrace (10.5 m²) are on top of that.

Yes, fast wifi across the whole property — on mesh routers, so it works in the rooms and on the terraces, not only near reception.

Yes — free, with plenty of space. On request we close the gate to the street overnight.
